5th Anniversary!
On the 28th November 2025, the Shop will be celebrating it’s 5th anniversary. There are 6 days of celebrations planned starting on Monday 24th November including daily special offers, a free to enter raffle, a celebrity guest doing the raffle draw & a very special lighting up of our Christmas tree as part of the village tree lighting up festivities.
Grants
The Shop grants scheme launched for the first time in 2025 and we were pleased to award two local groups, grants of £500 each.
Applications for grants will be welcomed again in 2026. Full details and the grants timetable will be published in May.
Volunteer Recruitment
We are always looking to recruit for volunteers to the Shop team.
New Initiatives 2025-26
Work experience
Work is being done to scope and introduce work experience schemes for both school-aged children and those who have left school and are seeking work experience to build their CV.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
