As a Community Benefit Society, the Shop’s profits are invested back into the community. For the first 4 years, profits were ploughed back into the development of the Shop premises. In 2025, the Shop set up a Grants scheme whereby local groups could bid for money from a sum agreed each year by the Management Board to help further the cause of their local community groups.
In May each year, the timetable for applications and awards and the amount made available for grants is published in the parish.
