As a member and shareholder of St Dominick Community Shop Community Benefit Society (CBS) the directors have a responsibility to keep you informed with how the business is progressing. To keep costs to a minimum we would like to use your email address to do this, but if you do not have an email address then please provide a postal address. The committee and CBS directors propose to contact you regularlyto let you know when milestones are reached and challenges arise.

In order to comply with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we need your permission to store and use your contact details. St Dominick Community Shop Community Benefit Society collects details of members in order to communicate information on business progress and activities.

When you become a member by purchasing shares,we will record your name, address, telephone number and email address.

The legal basis for collecting your personal information is the legitimate interest of running the organisation. If you cease to be a member,we will delete your personal details and confirm with you that we have done it.

We will not share your personal data with a third party and we will store your data securely, protected by a password known only by the Company Secretary and the Treasurer.
